Week#6 Mission Accomplished!

What is my experience doing this project?

When I heard about this project, that we need to interview a multimedia company I know it will be hard because most companies are difficult to contact and to conduct an interview but on the other hand it will be fun and enjoyable experience. Since my group that time was all boys, I thought it will be easy

But then Ms. A changed all the groups. My mind is going to explode about this projec

The project will pass by Friday, so as a responsible student I procrastinate.

I thought it will be easy to look for a company but then it was announced it will be pass earlier than I thought. So I crammed. I use the social media to look for a company.

I use the social media to look for a company and ask my friends if they know one. My sister said her friend is working to a advertising company, so I contacted her friend and said she’ll find someone who we can interview but as days goes by she didn’t reply and I’m getting nervous.

Rio found an editor and filmmaker whose in Cubao but then we’re not sure about that. We went to San Pablo to find a studio. We found one but they’re so busy we didn’t insists to interrupt them. So, we decided to go to SM San Pablo. We found a shop for computers and ask them if it’s okay to interview them for our project because they do editing and tutorials using multimedia basics, they said if it’s okay for us to come back tomorrow and we said yes. But then San Pablo is so far away we decided not to go back there, we went to SM Calamba and thank God Picture City agreed to be interviewed. So, our interview-project is accomplished!

Week#5 CAS “PERFECT”

In our department, College of Arts & Science, you will find beautiful ladies and handsome gentlemens, creative students & critical thinkers and so on. 

I didn’t know that Multimedia Arts will be in CAS, I thought it was included in CCS because of the technology. As a shy guy, I did not want to join in any activities and groups but my course is included in CAS which has tons of activities, I find it entertaining and my shyness will fade because of the people around me have sense of humor and they’re easy to communicate with.

I believe and I could say that CAS is one of the best department in our university because we treat each other like a family. I like the feeling when I joined CASPEP, the feeling of fighting for your own department and it was fun. I felt very proud in myself because I participated and it made me proud for my department.

Our department have a lot of talented students, in which is a perfect recipe. Our university is lucky to have us.

Week 3: The Moves

Actually I really want to go home after Ms. A’s class because I am sleepy that time but I need to attend the said seminar because it’s required. 

When the speaker starts talking, she had this charisma that got all of our attention and listen to her. She taught us many things like about corporate image, identity, communication & advertising materials, PR programs and trade fair. All of that is interesting and helpfull in the near future. There is this certain strategy that I like, it’s called “Undercover Marketing”. Its an another way to market your brand or product by simply act as an ordinary person for example: I will market a camera. I will go to a place that have peoples that is into photography and use them with them and if they got curious I could easily tell what it is.

The speaker is all lively and enjoyable to listen with. I learned a lot of things and I loved that she told us that companies want a multimedia graduates.

Week 2: Long weekend

Last Saturday my class had a seminar but I didn’t attend because its raining so hard and my mother won’t let me leave the house due to the weather condition. The next day; the weather is nice and the sun is present so my mother decided to go to Manila to visit my Grandma. It’s been a while since we visited her. When we arrived the adults are playing “Tong-its”. I guess bingo has been replaced. Anyway, it is also a pig-out day for us. We ate shawarma, pizza-hut & mcdo delivery. It was very fun.

We went to SM North on the next day. My mother bought a Telivision; we got a very nice deal. We got a 42” LED LG TV with wi-fi connection & USB hub and a free 32” TCL TV with USB hub. We had our dinner at Chic-boy. They’re place is cool and the food was okay but I think Mang Inasal is better. By tuesday, we went to Edilain’s house to do our photography project. I was glad the weather is fine; so we did a great job doing it. I, Carrie, Bebz and Andrew talks about ghost stories because Bebz told us there is black guy behind Andrew’s. That was creepy. I and Andrew likes to go ghost hunting and wants to have an experience to see a ghost. By wednesday; we had no class. So I went to do my Sociology Paper and sleep and eat and roam around the internet world.

Week 1: When we finish this I belive all of us will change a lot

I was shocked when Ms. A told us about new groupings; she divided the class into three groups. Ms. A told us who wants to choose their new groupmates. Instantly, I hope my new groupmates are Ner and Ian because we live in tanauan, we can easily meet-up and do this project but she asks us “Why do you want to choose your own groupmate?” Jeric replied “Mam… BOOOM!” Ms. A laughed and then so group the three “Expert” Adrew, Mark and Ner. I told myself, I’m doomed. 

Then Ms. A called my name and I became nervous then she call Rio and Angelica. Now, That’s my new group; in a minute there I was like this can’t be true but then I get over it. I know Ms. A knows what she’s doing, she want us to learn not to depend to our classmate.

I think we’re gonna be just fine. Rio and Angelica are both awesome peope though all of us weren’t that good on editing a video but hopefully we will have a cooperation to nurture our talents. I believe after this alot of us will change. Good luck to all of us!

It is some kind of combination of information technology and the activities of people associated to support and execute the necessary operations and management of the system with the responsibility of decision-making. It’s a system of people and technology depending on each other to achieve some common goal. This suggests not only this co-operation of man and machine, but also the way in which the interactions between them work in support of various business processes. It is also an integrated set of components for collecting, storing, processing, and communicating information. Business firms, other organizations, and individuals in contemporary society rely on information systems to manage their operations, compete in the marketplace, supply services, and augment personal lives. An information system is also a system but differs from other kinds of systems because its objective is to monitor and document the operations of other systems. The main functions of an information system may be input, processing, output, storage and control at work place The nature of competition is changing fast and drives business models concerns of contemporary organizations. Day to day there is an increased need for development of the appropriate information systems, which will drive organizations to competitive advantage. The implementation and use of such systems deeply involves senior managers and the generality of the users across the organisation. The need for new methodologies, tools and techniques is becoming more and more necessary time-by-time. No single approach of presented methodologies can satisfy a hundred percent the aspects of information systems development. The invention of new methodologies that could be able to solve all the development problems plays a vital role to future information systems analysis and design. Future trends shows that these methodologies could become better and could cover the gap between hard and soft aspects of information systems.

PERCEPTION FOR A BUSINESS

In today’s business is the main source of income, job and money. What is business? Business is work relating to the production, buying, and selling of goods or service. Business is used when talking about how many products or service a company is able to sell.

If business is good, a lot of products or services are being sold and if business is bad, few of them are being sold. Business some other activity that you do as part of your job and not for pleasure. You can use business to refer to a particular area of work or activity in which the aim is ti make a profit. A company that is in business is operating and trading.

When you’re in a business you need to listen, digest and respond to the feedback you receive from your clients and the community. Whether you own large or small business, for-profit or not-for-profit enterprise,you need to understand the wants and needs of the target market.

Today many business us web presence to make it easy and organized. Having one  website actual promote your business essential. Someone who can showcase your plusses, your products, activism, sustainable product and eco-friendly activities. When it’s up and running, promote the heck out of the website the more people who know about you business, the faster your reputations grows.

Being a person involves in a business i should know many techniques, strategies, creative and optimist. To have a good income and nice business.

“We cannot hold a torch to light another’s path without brightening our own.” - Ben Sweetland According to the Official Gazette, the SONA is a yearly tradition when the President reports on the status of the country, and may also propose to Congress, before which the address is delivered, certain proposals for legislation that are believed to be necessary. Aquino’s SONA last 25th of July has delivered a long but impressive State of the Nation Address before congress. The SONA can be summarized into two basic parts. The first part enumerates the sins, incompetence and the alleged anomalies of the past administration which result into contributing factors why the new leader feels that he is facing problems to deliver his promises. The second part includes the solutions and strategies such as vows to end culture of ‘wang-wang’, government lines up new legislative measures for people’s benefit, calls on private sector to pay proper taxes, vows to defend country’s territory and sovereignty,  ready to submit proposed 2012 national budget to Congress, appoints Carpio-Morales as new Ombudsman, a “more honest” DPWH, no more imporation of rice, better benefits for the police and miltary,  and asks Filipinos to stop ‘culture of negativism’ or ‘crab mentality’. You have to give the man credit for the conversational approach, timely pauses, subtle jokes, and practiced modulation with which he delivered his speech. President Noynoy is implementing is a clean and transparent administration and he cannot achieve it for only a year. So, we must allow him to make more improvements in time. His speech has already showed us some of his accomplishments; in the coming years maybe he can prove to us more and show us the true democracy that we are now searching and begging for.  President Ninoy is just a man. He can’t do it all alone. We must considered his effort because we all know he’s doing everything he can. The real improvement & development of our country lies in our hands. Corruption is not a threat of poverty.

‘CUT-OFF MEMORIES’

When I was in High School I heard my classmate talking about Multimedia Arts. I remember him saying that in this course I will learn about Drawing, Animation and Photography. I chose Multimedia Arts because of Photography because it is my dream to be a professional photographer.

Being a Multimedia Arts student made me knowledgeable in alot of different stuff about arts and teach me how to be more creative. I chose this course because I belive this course have many oppurtunty looking for a job. Such as Graphics Designer, Web-Page Developer/Editor,Games, Photography and etc.

My experience As a MMA student can be describe at three words: Fun, Challenging, and Enjoyable. It is fun because I like it when I learn and discover new things about this course. It is challenging because you have to be creative and challenge you mind to do so and also be patient. It is enjoyable because this is what I really like to do.

I believe that the best part of being an MMA student is our being a hard-working student, understanding, patient and love for our God.

One Of a Kind!

The super exciting matchup of Smart Gilas, PBA superstars vs NBA superstars  in Araneta Coliseum 

I believe this is the most memorble happen in history of basketball in the philippines because the greatest player in Nba had come here in philippines JaVale McGee,Kevin Durant,Derrick Williams,Tyreke Evans,James Harden ,Kobe Bryant,Chris Paul,Derrick Rose and Derek Fisher. 

Many filipino basketball fanatics want to watch this game due to its one of a kind exciting game. When I heard about this thing will happen I really want to buy a ticket to see my favorite basketball players, but I don’t have someone to go with and I don’t have enough money to buy a decent ticket. My Aunt who lives in Boston told me not to envy those who got a chance to watch, she also told me that she’ll bring me in Boston Garden when Celtics and Lakers have a game. I hope that day will come.  

When I was  watching the game on the television all NBA Superstar was so great! Kobe is so cool doing his favorite moves. JaVale McGee have the best Highlight Dunk, block then plaking! The game was so fun. When Lebron James have a chance to come here in the Philippines, 100% sure I will be buying the ticket as soon as its available!
